  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 teaspoons chai spice blend
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
  • 46 tablespoons heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Brown the butter in a skillet until deep amber, then mix with sugars until smooth.
  2. Add eggs and vanilla, mixing until well combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, oats, chai spice, baking soda, and salt.
  4. Gradually mix dry ingredients into the wet mixture; let dough rest for about 15 minutes.
  5. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare baking sheets with parchment paper.
  6. Shape dough into balls and flatten slightly on the sheets; bake for 12–14 minutes until golden.
  7. Prepare the maple glaze by whisking powdered sugar, chai spice, vanilla extract, salt, and maple syrup; add heavy cream to desired consistency.
