  • 1 teaspoon activated charcoal powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 packet (2 ¼ tsp) active dry yeast
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 cup cooked and mashed sweet potato
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Optional toppings: caramelized onions, roasted bell peppers, fresh arugula, pumpkin seeds

Instructions

  1. Prepare the dough: Activate yeast in warm water with sugar. Mix flour, charcoal, and salt; combine with yeast mixture and olive oil. Knead until smooth, then let rise until doubled in size.
  2. Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C). Blend pumpkin puree, mashed sweet potato, olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Roll out dough to desired thickness, transfer to a baking sheet or pizza stone. Spread the pumpkin-sweet potato mixture on top and sprinkle with cheese and smoked paprika.
  4. Bake for 12–15 minutes until the crust is crispy and cheese is bubbly. Let cool slightly before slicing.
